Parenting In Homes

I think the state should keep itself separated from affairs in the home and the parenting that is used within that boundary unless the parents are crossing the line into abusive status. I feel that the state should have some control over parenting within homes with thing such as alcohol, drugs, punishment and so on and so forth. At the same time when it comes to religious beliefs and core values the parents should be able to dictate what is taught within their household otherwise we throw out the idea and right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. If the state tries to interfere with every aspect of the child's home life and the parents role in the son or daughters life than the child will never develop a strong enough relationship with either of the parents and will not respect the parents directions or words. If the state tries to get involved outside of schooling and education it takes away the need for the parent figures and the child will never fully understand hardships or social norms and ques that one learns by experience and advice through a parent figure. If the state gets to involved in the raising of children in certain homes than they throw out all constitutional rights and actually inhibit the child from developing into a working class citizen who chooses there own path but instead they become brainwashed and indifferent to everyone else around them. The state must find a balance in which they support children and protect them from abuse and wrong doing but still allow them to develop relationships with their parents and their peers.
