My Reflection Walk

I took a forty-five minute walk around my neighborhood and the neighborhoods around it the tuesday after Christmas and after my basketball practice that day.

The first thing that came to my mind was my team. In our coaches eyes we arent giving 100 percent in our practices and are on the verge of being great but havent been able to get past starting and coming to practices slow. As I thought over the potential of our team all my frustrations with our coach dissapeared. As i looked over our season and whats to come, I can tell you one thing. I WANT TO WIN STATE. There is so much talent in our program and as college approaches I feel it would be a shame to waste the talent that was granted to our team. I am not saying it will be easy we definatly may be outmatched in size and maybe even by talent by some teams but even the greatest teams fall. All I am saying is that I dont want to look back on my senior year feeling regret that our team could have had something great and knowing that just a little more effort in certain areas could have gotten us there.

This whole idea got me thinking about college. I honestly don't feel ready for the idea of graduation and advancing onto college. I have wanted to get out of highschool for as long as I can remember but as I draw closer the idea of responsiblity makes me nervous. I feel that my job at Fairwood Golf and Country Club has made me realize that life as an adult is not like my childhood in which i had no worries and life was always one big happy moment accept when I did not get the right toy for Christmas. I am going to meet plent of people that don't approve of me or what I do. The problem with me is I can't accept when someone else does not like me or has an issue with me and I tend to attempt to fix it and as of late I have just given characteristic up completely and have begun to not care what people think of me. As I look into my future I know there is one thing that can help me with all my troubles and that is Christ. In order to make it through the future years of my life I feel I need to strengthen my relationship with Christ and become the man of God that my dad and my oldest brother have become.

Sorry I didn't relate my life to the pictures but they weren't what really got me thinking.

Naturalism and its Problamatic Ideas

Naturalists believe in the idea of the natural or nature. They believe that nature is responsible for life through evolution and natural selection. An example of this is in nature two animals with the genes or body style etc needed for survival breed. When the offspring are produced the ones aloud to produce are only those who have a similar ability to survive. So if a two tigers who are stronger and faster are breaded and the offspring are not at a similar status they are not allowed to reproduce. In other words these adaptations which are in reality mutations are responsible for the progress and process of life. But how does something like this explain the vast architecture throughout the human body that could not have happened on chance or through natural selection. How could naturalism account for the complexity of the heart and the brain and all other organisms within the human body that scream creation? They are so complex that they could not happen by chance!

Naturalists also believe in spontaneous generation in which they claim we evolved from pond scum or nothing. How is this possible? How can something evolve from nothing. Everything we make or have today has a base or foundation on which it has been created. A building needs steel and structure, a math problem comes from a cause or something that needs to be solved, baked goods need bakers and ingredients they don't just appear! Naturalism cannot account for the complexities within the human body and the world! The chance that humans came from nothing is about the same chance as if one was to put the number 1-10 in a hat and attempt to draw out the numbers in sequential order in a row. The probability of this is around one in a billion.

Naturalism just does not have the answer for the complexity of human organisms in the body such as DNA and other architectural creations. The only answer is intelligent design.
